acidorezistentne bakterije
Bakterije koje upijaju određene boje nakon što su isprane u kiseloj otopini. Većina acidorezistentnih bakterija su mikobakterije. Kad u obojenom razmazu sputuma ili u drugom kliničkom uzorku nađemo acidorezistentne bakterije, treba posumnjati na TB; dijagnoza TB nije potvrđena dok kultura ne naraste i ne identificira se kao M. tuberculosis.
