Flying boat
A flying boat is a hybrid plane that can fly in the sky like a regular plane and float on water like a boat. A flying boat uses its watertight body as a hull to float instead of relying on the two large floats (slender pontoons) mounted under the fuselage for buoyancy, as with most float planes.
