dilaw dwarf
Isang viral na sakit na ipinadala ng mga berde leafhoppers (Nephotettix SP.). Ang unang sintomas ng dilaw dwarf ay pangkalahatang klorosis, lalo na sa mga bagong lumitaw at kabataan dahon. Kulay Ang ay nag-iiba-iba mula sa madilaw-dilaw sa berde. Bilang progresses ang sakit, ang mga nahawaang mga halaman maging malubhang puril, tillering pagtaas kapansin-pansin, at dahon maging malambot at droopy. Ang mga nahawaang halaman ay gumawa ng alinman sa walang panicles o ng ilang maliit na panicles, na bear karamihan unfilled spikelets.
